Huntington Bank is an official sponsor of UMD student-focused programs and activities with funds provided directly through royalties and marketing payments made to the University under the existing royalty agreement. Consideration for the Huntington Bank Sponsorship Fund is available to UMD student groups (Campus Life Programs and Registered Student Organizations) and to UMD departments through the successful completion of this application. Applications will be reviewed by a committee within Student Life. Members of the selection committee are ineligible to apply for funding.
Eligible events and programs must be campus-wide in their scope, and preference is given to events and programs for students.
Fully completed applications must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the event to be considered for funding. In accordance with the Huntington Bank agreement, requests for up to $500 will be considered per student group event and up to $1,000 per department event. Applicants are eligible for one sponsored event per calendar year. All events must be held on University property. All sponsorship applications will be considered based on the merits of the proposed event and the availability of funds.
